I am so excited! I have enrolled in Bärbel Dressler’s historical pattern making course, Repertoire.
I took Immersion and am glad I did. But it focused too much on Adobe Illustrator. I pick up on learning new software very quickly. What I needed was for someone to “kick my butt” and explain to me HOW to make patterns. I needed a challenge and I think I may have found it.
The fact that she comes at pattern design from a historical perspective is just thrilling. She is a self-described “nerd” and as a former teacher, I am definitely looking forward to the next 10+ weeks!
