Just a post to remind myself for posterity that yes, I struggled quite a bit with my creative motivation during the summer of 2022. I can blame it on the heat. But instead of beating myself up I’d like to write this post to remind myself that even though I barely drew a single mark on a page for the last 2 months, I created a pollinator garden that is beautiful. And that ain’t no small feat. So for now, and in the future when I feel like drowning myself in regret and condemnation because I didn’t get anything accomplished in terms of my business, I can look at these photos and remember the beauty that surrounded me…and I helped to create it.
