Week one of Immersion 2023 was about finding ways to be inspired. You can find inspiration anywhere and aside from the garden outside my door that lies dormant, I actually have a house filled with inspiration that I’ve been collecting for over 30 years (some of it anyway).
In no particular order some of my collections include…
• Crystals & stones (100s!)
• Seashells (most of which I found myself)
• Antique silver pieces, the grungier the better
• Brown transferware
• Vintage children’s books (my prized possessions is one illustrated by Joan Beale & a second by Miles & Marjorie Auerbach)
• Tarot cards
• Vintage textbooks
• Vintage photos (purchase off of eBay)
